Washed Sand provides a firm base for Dobbies Garden Centre

Grundy & Co Excavations Ltd are pleased to be involved in providing Recycled Aggregates and Washed Sand to the ‘Dobbies Garden Centre Project’ in Speke Merseyside.

Grundys have supplied a wide range of recycled construction materials to site including: MOT Type 1, 6F2 (Crushed Brick), 10mm Pipe Bedding and Coarse Wash Sand. We have supplied a total of circa 22,000 tonnes of Recycled Aggregates and Sand to their site. The quality and delivery of products were key features in Grundy,s winning the contract. We worked closely with the main contractor, Gilbert Ash, in ensuring that the products arrived on site, on time, every time

Environmental issues are high on the agenda of main contractor, Gilbert Ash, and to this end they had to be confident that Grundys could not only deliver the right material but that our Environmental Policies matched theirs. Site visits and testing were carried out to provide the confidence that we could match their expectations.
